BACKYARD POOL SAFETY REMINDER- If you purchased a pool for your backyard, please also purchase the safety fencing and educate yourself on the risk you just acquired.

IF YOU DON'T OWN A POOL- Be aware, as you drive through your neighborhood -Be on the lookout for backyard pools that are not fenced in. Pay attention to where you see large pool boxes sitting by your neighbors trash can. If you have small children at home, you are at risk of losing your child to drowning if they wander into that neighbors yard. With many aquatic centers closed, people are going to stores to purchase pools without any thought or knowledge of pool safety. Putting not only their children at risk, but neighbors children as well. BE ALERT!

350 children under the age of five drown in pools each year nationwide. The majority of the deaths occur in June, July and August; most in backyard pools
