Inmate Family Members SCAM ALERT!

It appears a scam targeting family members of Inmates has occurred. The Sheriff's Office has received reports from several of our Inmate's family members. It appears someone is checking our inmate roster and calling Inmate family members wanting them to pay the bond over the phone. This is a SCAM!!!!!!

For anyone who wants to bond an Inmate out of jail, they have to physically come to the Sheriff's Office and fill out the necessary paperwork, and then pay the bond amount at that time.

If you receive a call from someone asking you to pay a bond over the phone, HANG UP and notify the Sheriff's Office immediately! 785-863-2765
